Apostle Islands, Wisconsin

A spectacular cloud resembling an angel hovers appropriately over Wisconsin's 22 Apostle Islands National Lake Shore on the western end of Lake Superior. There is only one occupied island; the others are uninhabited except for their lighthouses and provide romantic mystery with their 50 foot sandstone cliffs lined with secluded coves.
